REGULATIONS THE CITY OF TALENTS FESTIVAL 2022

 The CITY OF TALENTS Cultural Association organizes the INTERNATIONAL CITY OF TALENTS festival on October 8-9, 2022. The objective of the festival is the selection and promotion of young talents in perfecting a complete artistic act; in stimulating the spirit of competition, communication and fair play between participants.

The festival is open to all children and young people between the ages of 5 and 30 from kindergartens, schools, palaces/children's clubs (state or private), from all over the world

                                                                          CATEGORIES

 (each category is judged individually;  you can apply to one or more categories ; each category is payed individually )

 

A. SONG IN NATIVE LANGUAGE: 5-6; 7-8; 9 - 10; 11-12; 13-14; 15-16; 17-18; 19-30 (duration of max 4 min)

B. SONG IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE: 5-6; 7-8; 9 - 10; 11-12; 13-14; 15-16; 17-18; 19-30 .(duration of maximum 4 min)

C. MUSICAL: In this category, any song from a musical can participate, with a maximum duration of 7 minutes

D. MOVIE: In this category, any song that is part of the soundtrack of a movie, in any language, with a maximum duration of 4 minutes can participate

E. DANCE: This category is for individual dancers or groups, regardless of the chosen dance style, the song or musical collage must not exceed 4 minutes.

F. FOLKLORE: in this category, one participates with a single song, maximum duration of 4 minutes, and the folk costume specific to the area is mandatory

G. DOINA :  in this category, you participate with a single song, maximum duration of 4 minutes, and the folk costume specific to the area is mandatory

H. DUETS (duration of max 4 min)

I. GROUPS (duration of max 4 min)

J. MISS/MISTER CITY OF TALENTS: parades in 2 outfits: casual & elegant

                                                                      IMPORTANT

All competitors will perform on stage with an MP3 negative on audio support, you must have the negative with you at the festival, to prevent possible technical errors. The songs chosen by the contestants can be from any type of repertoire, but should match, as far as possible, the age, vocal range and interpretive possibilities of the soloists.

The organizers reserve the right to determine the number of competitors admitted to the festival and the order of entry into the competition.

All competitors - soloists and groups, will be present both in the competition and in the gala; presence of winners at the gala is mandatory, otherwise they will not be able to claim their prizes.

All contestants must respect the rules, the festival schedule, not damage the goods in the performance area and on the stage, present a costume appropriate to the song, both on the day of the contest and at the gala.

Any deviation from these rules can lead to the elimination of the competitor.

In any way, competitors are not allowed to disturb the judges before, during or after the competition. Official photos and videos will be posted on the official pages of the organizers

STEP 1: send us the following*:

 

1. Instrumental of the song, in MP3 format (we do not accept registrations via WhatsApp!)

 

2. Registration form - completed correctly and completely, with signature

 

3. Copy of birth certificate or identity document

 

4. Color photos in JPG bust format (3-5 photos)

 

STEP 2: we check if you sent us everything we requested, then we send you the account needed to make the payment.

 

!!! The fee is paid in the form of a donation to the account of the Orasul Talentelor association, and is non-refundable. In case, for reasons that do not depend on the organizers, but on the SARS-COVID pandemic, the fee will be used for the online festival from November 2022-January 2023!!!

 

* By sending these materials, you agree that the Orasul Talentelor Cultural Association will use the contestant's name and image to promote him on the blog and on the contest's official pages.

 

REGISTRATION FEE: 50 euro/ song

DUET/GROUP REGISTRATION FEE: 60 euro / song

 

The deadline for sending materials is 20.09.2022.

                                                                       Awards

 

A trophy and the I, II, III prizes will be awarded for each age category, depending on the notary's scale. The organizers, depending on the categories, reserve the right to double or triple some prizes. Also, depending on the value of the artistic performances, special mentions and prizes will be awarded.

THE CITY OF TALENTS 2022 TROPHY will be won by the competitor with the highest average

regardless of age category, and whose evolution particularly impressed the jury.

 

 JURY'S TROPHY !!!! Each member of the jury will award a trophy to the contestant who particularly impressed him.

 

FESTIVAL PRESIDENT'S TROPHY !!!! The president of the festival will award a trophy to the contestant who particularly impressed him.

JURY

 

The jury will be made up of specialists from the fields that make up the perfect artist: singing, art performance, media and choreography. The contestant will be marked with points from 50 to 100. The judging criteria are: vocal qualities, voice transmission, diction, artistic interpretation, stage movement, originality.

Each juror will score from the point of view of the field he represents. The final score will result from the accumulation of all the jurors' marks, divided by their number.

The decisions of the jury are irrevocable and cannot be appealed.

PERSONS WHO DURING THE PREVIOUS EDITIONS HAVE HARMED THE ORGANIZERS OR THE JURY IN ANY WAY ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED IN THIS FESTIVAL
